A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Board of Psychologists to promulgate a legislative rule relating to consideration of prior criminal convictions in initial licensure determinations and application for waiver of initial licensing fees for certain individuals.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

ARTICLE 9. Authorization for miscellaneous agencies and boards to promulgate legislative rules.

§64-9-1. Board of Psychologists.

The legislative rule filed in the State Register on October 11, 2019, authorized under the authority of §30-1-24 of this code, modified by the Board of Psychologists to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on January 8, 2020, relating to the Board of Psychologists (consideration of prior criminal convictions in initial licensure determinations and application for waiver of initial licensing fees for certain individuals, 17 CSR 07), is authorized.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Board of Psychologists to promulgate a legislative rule relating to consideration of prior criminal convictions in initial licensure determinations and application for waiver of initial licensing fees for certain individuals.
